These terms apply every time you order from this store. They are written to be read, not to hide things. If something is unclear, ask before you order.

Who you are buying from

When an order becomes a contract

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you press pay. Until then we may decline an order — for example if the item is out of stock, if the price was listed in error, if we cannot ship to your address, or if the order looks fraudulent. If we decline after taking payment, we refund it in full.

Prices, currency and duties

All prices are in US dollars and include our handling and packing, but not shipping unless stated. Import duties, VAT, GST and customs fees are not included and are payable by you to your customs authority or carrier. We cannot predict these amounts and cannot refund them.

We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you ordered is the price that applies to that order.

What natural crystal is like

Every bead is cut from natural stone. Colour, banding, inclusions and translucency vary from bead to bead and from the photographs on this site. Small differences in bead diameter, strand length and finish are normal in hand-strung work and are not defects. Screens also render colour differently. If you need an exact match to a photograph, ask us before ordering — we will send a photo of the actual lot.

Made-to-order and Studio pieces

Strands you build in the Studio, and any piece made to a specific wrist size or bead sequence, are made to your specification and are not eligible for return or exchange except where the item arrives damaged or is not what you specified. This is stated again at checkout and in our Shipping & Returns policy. Please measure your wrist carefully — we are happy to help before you order.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We do not store card numbers. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend the order and any related account. Prices are charged in USD; your bank may apply its own conversion rate and fees.

Delivery, returns and risk

Dispatch times, carriers, delivery windows, the returns window and how to start a return are all set out in Shipping & Returns, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Our content

The photographs, text, bead renderings and layout on this site belong to us. You may share links and images for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy our product photography or catalogue text for commercial use.

Limits on our responsibility

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses such as lost profit, or for delays caused by customs, carriers or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Your local consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law in your country of residence. Where those protections are stronger than these terms, they apply instead.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts of [City] have jurisdiction — except that consumers may also bring proceedings in their own country of residence where local law gives them that right.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you ordered. The date at the top shows when this version took effect.
